2025 TTA Truck Driving Championships

We are excited to announce the upcoming Tennessee Truck Driving Championships. This event is for TTA member drivers! This competition allows drivers to demonstrate their knowledge of the industry, driving skills, and professional competence for the chance to compete in the American Trucking Association’s National Truck Driving Championships. 

This championship does more than recognize talent – it shines a light on the professionalism and safety of some of Tennessee's best drivers. It's your chance to showcase the skill and dedication of professional truck drivers.:

Qualifications for Entry

• A minimum of one (1) year of employment with current employer. 
• A preventable accident-free driving record from the day after the previous TN Truck Driving Championships until the date of the current TN TDC. 
• Full-time employment performing the duties of a regularly employed truck driver with a TTA member company. (Hostlers, casual drivers, and persons whose driving is a secondary responsibility to other duties are not qualified.) 
• Companies will be limited to three (3) drivers per class, per terminal. 
• PLEASE ENCOURAGE your drivers to study for the written portion of the competition. All questions are sourced from the 2025 ATA Fast Facts for Drivers book which is available to purchase soon. Contact Marty Pollock (MPollock@tntrucking.org) to purchase a book.
  
  Eligibility Update: 2025 NTDC / NSVDC, drivers in a non-preventable accident are now eligible to compete. The description of what is permitted and the process in which accident eligibility should be reviewed here along with submitting the 2025 "Eligibility Request Form.

How to Register: 

Deadline to Enter April 18, 2025. No refunds after April 21, 2025

1. Download Required Entry Form: Click to Download the TDC Entry Form.

2. Complete All Documentation

• Fill out the Driver Entry & Release Form completely. 
  • IMPORTANT: Every question must have either an answer or "N/A" if not applicable. All signature lines must be signed.
• Prepare your MVR (Motor Vehicle Record)

3. Format Your Documents

• Save all driver's documents as individual PDFs
  • Name files as: LastName_FirstName_CompanyName.pdf
  • Example: Smith_Joe_ALFreight.pdf

4. Submit Your Registration Documents & Pay Using One of the Ways Below. 

There are two (2) ways to submit documents & pay: 

Option 1: Online Submission & Payment

• Enter your email address and name on the registration page
• Select the number of drivers you need to register for the TDC
• Upload completed documents & driver details in the provided participant sections
• Finish & submit payment

Option 2: Email Submission: 

• Send all documents to Marty Pollock at mpollock@tntrucking.org
• Once submitted you can call the Tennessee Trucking Association office at 615-777-2882 to pay by phone or receive an invoice to submit payment
